Ocean Beach is a place that makes you want to take a deep breath and stare at the horizon for hours. On  foggy days, when the beach and the ocean blend in together in the invading mist, the place looks simply magical. There's little chance that your children will want to dip more than the tip of their toes in the ocean considering the almost freezing temperature but there still is plenty for them to have fun with. Huge and pretty much always empty, Ocean Beach makes the best sandbox ever. Your kids will also love going up and down the wild sand dunes separating the beach from the street.
