Koret Playground And Carousel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

"We love to go play in Golden Gate Park,  Koret's playground is a favorite of our son" | Claudia Volpi, Owner Superga San Francisco.

A camel, a frog or a rooster?...It will be hard to pick which one of the sixty-two colorful wooden animals of the carousel to ride! Built in 1914, the old-fashioned attraction is located right by Koret's playground, a local moms' favorite for several reasons. The location at the Western entrance of the Golden Gate Park, close to public transportation and adjacent to a free parking is really convenient.  The diversity of the play structures, including six swings, a rope climbing structure, a climbing wall shaped like waves, play areas for little and big kids, two sandboxes and historic concrete slides will please newborns to pre-teenagers for hours. There are also many benches, picnic tables, and lawns where you can set your camp around.

What's Around?

Twirl and dip. An old-fashioned ice cream truck serving an incredible vanilla ice cream swirl dipped into melting chocolate, and topped with salt crystals!

Golden Gate Park Attractions. The California Academy of Sciences, the Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, The Botanical Garden.

Inner Sunset. A village like neighborhood filled with goodies to eat and shop for.
