Austria | Blaslahof, a cool and authentic nature refuge

Play, ski, rest.

At the Blaslahof you will really be able to do all of these, I’ll tell you why.

I am dreaming to take my tribe to this boutique hotel in South Tyrol, Austria as it perfectly combines kid-friendliness, refinement, and design. The hotel has been design by a family, for families.

Wood, stone, sheep wool

The rooms consist in large apartments with several bedrooms, which is ideal, as you will be able to get some parent time in the evening, and won’t feel on top of each other.

In addition to being large, the rooms are stunning using as many natural materials and textures as possible such as hay and sheep wool mattresses and pillows. A couple of flats are even entirely made in wood, assembled without using any glue or nails. Furniture included! It is both impressive and gorgeous to look at.

Playroom

Another feature I love at the Blaslahof is the large nature centric kids playroom, ideal to let little one have some fun. Older kids will like the table tennis, table football, and the board games. There are also a playground for kids outside, as well as hiking trails and a forest to explore.

Ski

Located in the valley of Casies, this stay is also ideal of you’d like to ski. Classes and rentals are available in the nearby villages of Colle, Santa Maddalena and Tesido.

After a day out and about, warm up in the indoor pool, the sauna or the Hay bath. True perfection.
