The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science

Finally ! The brand new Museum of Science has recently opened its doors in Downtown Miami’s Museum Parc, next to the Pérez Art Museum Miami (and across the Causeway from Miami Children’s).
The 250,000 square foot facility combines a planetarium, aquarium and science museum on one campus. Visitors are invited to explore marine biology and the beautiful waters of South Florida, the core science behind living systems, the solar system and known universe, the physics of flight, light and lasers, the biology of the human body and mind...
We like the planetarium and its 360° screen which literally dives you deep into the ocean and into the stars; the interactive experiences and demonstrations; the beauty of corals.
We are a bit disappointed by the aquatic animals. No wahoo effects. At least that's the prevailing feeling after visiting the astonishing Monterey Bay Aquarium in California...
