The Dogpatch

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There are no iconic sites here, but a very unique vibe. Ancient dormitory suburb for industrial workers, the Dogpatch is now home to local artists, designers and manufacturers. The most famous ones include: the custom messenger bag maker Rickshaw Bagwork, the custom case manufacturer Dodo Case, and the artisan chocolate maker Poco Dolce.

There are wonderful spots to visit while your little one is asleep:

The Museum of Craft and Design, very spacious, quiet and fascinating!

Water Cove Park. Previously known as “toxic beach” for its piles of discarded rubber, the pleasant green space offers walking paths, a colorful vegetation and benches. Adjacent to dilapidated piers and warehouses, it kept a post-industrial charm of the past and is definitely the most unique park around town.

Another perk of visiting the Dogpatch with a spleeping baby, is its topography. It is one of the least hilly neighborhoods of San Francisco, so it won’t require any work out to push your stroller around the mix of restored warehouses and Victorian style houses.

If you get hungry during your visit, don't miss:
