The Butterfly Joint

Put on an apron, safety glasses and gloves on your little one and let him sand some wood, pull the steam whistle or even safely drill some holes (when old enough of course) at this woodworking and design studio designed just for them. The Butterfly Joint will definitely trigger your kid’s creativity and offer him one of a kind experience in San Francisco. You’ll also be able to learn about woodwork by signing up to a parent and children class! This family business is led by Danny Montoya, a dad of a 2 years old with ten years of experience as an early childhood educator. Big on hands-on education and passionate about wood, the Butterfly Joint is his way to combine what he cares for.

What’s Around ?The Mission. The "hipster hood" of San Francisco crowded with a mix of thrift stores and chic vintage shops, delicious restaurants and coffee shops. Don’t miss Tacolicious (See "Kid-Friendly Restaurants"), Ritual Coffee, Dandelion (See "Le Goûter"), Xanath Ice Cream and Paxton Gate for a curious children toy shopping experience.Dolores Park. Surrounded with palm trees and victorian style houses, this gorgeous park offers breathtaking views of the city, a funky playground and is a favorite meeting point for the locals who can be up to 10 000 over the weekend.
