GREECE | EKIES ALL SENSES RESORT

By Charlotte Burgoyne.We had to pinch ourselves a couple of times to make sure the Ekies All Senses Resort was real. We are crushing on every detail of this hotel, starting from its location. To get to this little corner of paradise, we head to the North of Greece, a tourist free, secluded spot. During the 30 minute journey between the closest airport and the hotel, we discover an authentic, raw and truly breathtaking Greece. Nature is everywhere and its delicious smells such as the earthiness of the pine trees and the iode of the sea will be with us during our entire stay. The Ekies is hiding between a little forest and a gorgeous bay facing little islands. With its gigantic smooth rocks and turquoise water, the hotel's beach takes us right to the Seychelles Islands. Totally magical.Here we disconnect and easily forget about time, our phones or even the kids! From June to September, the Ekies offers themed kids clubs for kids above 5 years old. They can choose between art and nautical sports. For little ones, the property  has a kids pool, a large cool communal rooms and a kid-friendly beach. We love the hammocks to let babies sleep in the fresh air and the shallow quiet water.At the pool, discover a retro chic ambiance consisting in sunshades with tassels and a vintage fabric, bright comfy mattresses and pillows off the ground and a pool with a shape from the 50's. Each little corner of the Ekies offers an incredibly neat decor. Handmade carpets, linen curtains, lace tablecloths at the restaurant... The place is a treat for the eyes.Your other senses will also get a special treat. For meals, you will be able to choose among 6 restaurants serving fresh and locally produced food. Gastronomic buffets, meals in a tree by the water, or candlelight dinners with your toes in the sand, at the Ekies you will have plenty of experiences to try with your tribe or your other half. Half board is available which is really convenient with the kids.[supsystic-gallery id='124']The staff is big on providing quality time to the guests, especially to parents. Nine different rooms are available for families, some of them welcoming up to 4 kids. If your budget allows, you will even be able to stay in an appartement with private pool and garden.
