ALI MEJIA, CO-FOUNDER EBERJEY, IN MIAMI
Written by Charlotte Burgoyne,
Ali Mejia is one of Miami's most talented natives. With her partner Mariela Rovito, she founded the lingerie and sleepwear brand Eberjey in her early twenties. It only took few years for the pair to go global and win women's hearts worldwide thanks to elegant, charming fabrics and designs. With Eberjey, Ali realized two dreams: creating a lingerie brand with a soul and becoming an entrepreneur. A position she treasures especially since the birth of her two kids. She took a time of her uber busy schedule to talk about her favorite kid-friendly places in her city.
HER MIAMI
Eating out with the kids. Books & Books on Lincoln Road because we can bring our dogs, and there is a good variety of food for both the kids and me. The girls can happily browse through books while I wait for their meals.
Grabbing a snack. There's a small French bistro in South Miami - La Crepe Bistro - where we love to go to for a mid-afternoon snack. My girls order delicious crepes, while I get either a goat cheese salad or a cup of tea.
Shopping for her girls. I order most of the girls' clothes online or shop for them when I travel. But in Miami, my go-to's are Zara, Crewcuts, Boy meets Girl, Petit Ami and Eberjey, of course.
Sunny day activities with the girls. Paddleboarding, skateboarding and swimming.
Rainy day activities with the girls. We usually cook, do crafts, or make iMovies. Sometimes, we head to Soho Beach House to hangout and watch a movie there.
