When exploring with the kids, it is pretty likely you will hear, at some point, "I can't walk anymore", "I am bored", "I want to go home" and in those moments finding a way to boost them can be challenging.

Works every time for my tribe, but it can be quite tricky to find the perfect play space. Finding a green spot on google map does not necessarily mean playground....

In order to make parents' life easier, Sophie and her husband, created My Kiddy Park. Both web developpers, the parents of 2 wanted to use their knowledge to create a community based website, entirely free, listing all the playgrounds of the world. " I love to take my kids to outdoor parks, and discover new ones as often as possible but it is not easy to find them!" shares Sophie.

Her site already references 330 000 playgrounds worldwide in 150 countries.

How does it work?

The playgrounds' location is mentioned on an interactive map. Membres can add new places and complete the info sheet about each place with pictures, type of games, ameneties available...the site is mobile friendly which makes it easy to use on the go. It is also in three languages (English, French and German) and growing almost everyday with more places.
