On the weekends, large group of friends and families love to meet up at Ironside Pizza. They come for the thin, light and crispy dough of their pizza as well as the relaxed ambiance. Nestled in a pedestrian complex of restored warehouses, the restaurant offers a very safe environment for kids. The terrace opens up to an enclosed courtyard where they'll be able to run around freely, zigzagging between some artsy and vegetable sculptures. For dessert, head next-door to F27, a nitrogen ice-cream shop with molecular flavors.

Moderna. The best pizza in Miami Beach.

The Moderna is a recently-opened Italian restaurant in the popular and peaceful Bay Road/Purdy Avenue area. The pizzas are cooked to perfection and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. You can eat your pizza on site, have it delivered or go eat it on a bench at the edge of the water in Maurice Gibb Memorial Park.

 Andiamo. Eat a pizza in the atmosphere of the 50s. Midtown.

Nestled in an original building from the 50s, Andiamo will take you back to the Art Deco Miami time of a pizza. The glass building is surrounded by an oasis with picnic tables and a gigantic projection screen that kids will probably become glued to!

Harry's. A local families' favorite. Coconut Grove.

At Harry's kids will be made to feel welcome by a decor that speaks to them. The three walls inside the pizzeria all have different wallpapers - one black and white with child-like drawings of pizza ingredients, one with huge birds flying on a blue sky and one made of newspapers. The other attraction of the room is the big brick pizza oven releasing pies every few minutes.
