PELOPONNESE | KINSTERNA HOTEL MONEMVASIA

Driving from Athens to Monemvasia in south-eastern Peloponnese takes around 4 hours. Needless to say, the little ones will have to be patient before they can go and dive in the swimming pool. But, believe me, it's worth it!

Firstly, there is the stunning journey through the mountains, surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, and wildflowers. The air is warm and dry, filled with the scent of thyme and mint. On the distant horizon, you'll notice the dark blue sea.

Once you reach Kinsterna, stop by and visit 1 or 2 Ancient Greek historical sites during your journey (such as the sanctuary of Asclepios, classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco and its majestic Theater of Epidaurus, as well as the charming historical city of Nafplio by the sea).

The Kinsterna Hotel is located on the top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards, citrus trees, and olive groves, in Agios Stefanos, 1 km from the Aegean Sea and 7 km's from the famous citadel of Monemvasia (A must-see, especially at sunset!) Beautifully renovated in the purest Byzantine tradition, its sublime historical stone houses 36 ultra-comfortable rooms, a few suites and ideal residences for families.

But wait, there's more for families: 2 swimming-pools (including 1 for kids), an indoor playground for the little ones, and a charming outdoor one featuring a tree house. The place also has a huge orchard, a vegetable garden, and a farm.

The hotel also offers many activities: horse riding or donkey rides, bike rides, homemade breadmaking and olive oil. A babysitting service is also available (subject to advance booking).

The atmosphere is both elegant and super friendly and appeals to a variety of guests (lovers, groups of friends, families...)

During the day, you can go and find the marvelous beaches with crystal clear waters, hike through the wild trails or visit the area's villages. You might also prefer to stay at the hotel, enjoying the amenities and peacefulness of the place. In the evenings, families with young children may opt for a "casual" dinner in the main restaurant, while couples will be tempted by the more romantic and sophisticated atmosphere of "fine dining" on the upper terrace...

Little Voyageurs loves:❤️ The indoor and outdoor playgrounds❤️ The huge swimming-pool dedicated to kids❤️ The activities❤️ Their babysitting service (available upon request)[supsystic-gallery id=55]
