You’re in a restaurant. The food is taking ages to come. Your kids are getting antsy. You take your miniminimap out of your pocket. Problem solved. A few hours later, after dragging your kiddos to a museum, you NEED an activity just for them. You take your miniminimap out of your pocket. Problem solved. We all know this can go on and on and on during family trips.
You probably get it by now. Your miniminimap will come in handy in a lot of situations. But what exactly is it? It's a mini foldout city guide that your kids can color in, the size of a placemat, and full of original family-friendly addresses.
The "blog-trotter" behind this fantastic little guide is Ingrid Bauer, from the travel blog Les voyages d'Ingrid. "I love maps and I always collect tons of them when I travel. I wanted to create a hybrid tool for families on the move. Thanks to its size, the miniminimap can be unfolded at a restaurant. Kids can color whilst parents design the itinerary of their visit."
Mother of three, Ingrid loves traveling the world with her family. She is always on the lookout for unusual locations, which she now hopes to compile in future guides. So far there's only one miniminimap out: Paris, available in both French and English. Soon to come is Marseille, London and New York.
