THE MCCORMICK TRIBUNE ICE RINK

Located in Millennium Park next to the famous Cloud Gate (a public sculpture by Anish Kapoor, nicknamed The Bean by locals), the McCormick Ice Rink is one of the most popular activities in winter time. Check their website for daily hours of operation. Admission is free, and there are also free skating lessons from Friday to Sunday, an hour before the rink opens.
