Little Italy

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

In comparison to its ultra busy and noisy neighbor Chinatown, Little Italy feels like a quaint little village. There are less people on the sidewalks, which makes it nicer to walk with a stroller; and tones of coffee shops, bakeries and ice cream shops in the streets. If you are unsure wether you reached Little Italy or not, check out the electric posts decorated with Italian flag stickers! If you want a little rest, stop at Washington Square Park, a nice green patch surrounded by colorful buildings and the gorgeous Saints Peter and Paul Church, in front of which Marilyn Monroe posed for her wedding pictures! If you are up for a little walk, head to Lombard Street to observe the ballet of cars and visitors walking up and down what is commonly referred to as the crookedest street in the world. If you are up for a big uphill walk, make your way up to Coit Tower for a panoramic view of the city.
