The Botanical Garden is the best rated activity among Our Trend Spotters for some family fun in the sun and there's little mystery why. Beside the incredible labyrinths of secret paths hidden all around the garden, this place is also a great opportunity for children to get more familiar with nature. The park designed a "Magical Family Adventure map" to educate the younger crowd. Ask for it at the entrance or download it on their website. Twice a month the Botanical Garden also organizes free Children’s story time in the library for kids aged 4 to 8. For the dates, check their website. For resting or feeding stop, you will find many benches scattered around, as well as bathrooms with changing tables close to both entrances.

What's around?
Golden Gate Park Attractions. Within a five minutes walk, you will get to The Japanese Tea Garden, The California Academy Of Sciences (see "It's Raining"), the De Young Museum (see "C for Culture"). Within a fifteen minutes walk, you will also find Koret's playground and Carrousel (see "Fun in the Sun") and the Conservatory of Flowers.
Inner Sunset. A little village in San Francisco. Head out of the Golden Gate Park on 9th Avenue and wander around the 9th avenue & Irving St intersection. You'll find lots of great restaurants (Yummy Yummy, Nopalito), bakeries, coffee shops (Arizmendi, Snowbird), and shops (Chloe's Closet).
