Freehand

If you wish you had seen the Miami of the 50s, come to Freehand. Nestled in an Art Deco building dating from 1935, this hotel is a vintage jewel. The renowned interior design studio, Robin and Williams who decorated the place, managed to recreate an authentic feeling. The lobby looks like a quaint living room from another era with mid-century bookshelves, yellow tiled fireplace and a mix of velour, wood and rattan chairs. Despite its super hip look, the Freehand is not the kind of place where coming back from the beach with sand on your toes is a problem!

The place is extremely welcoming for all its guests including families who will love the free breakfast, the fully equipped communal kitchen with fridge and dry storage in addition to some indoor and outdoor seating areas, the pool and a shaded courtyard with a little blue tiled fountain. The boutique hotel offers standard king-size rooms and suites as well as bungalows with a kitchenette - a great option for families! If you’re up for a unique fun experience you can also go for the quad room with bunk beds. You’d never guess but this ultra cool place also offers hostel type rooms! Make it a private room and offer your kids a summer camp-like experience, while you and your partner remember your college years!
