Flamingo Park

When it is over 80 degrees Fahrenheit most of the year there is not much you can do but chase the shade. Miami Beach moms are well trained and know the best spots to take their little ones on a hot and sunny day. Their favorite refuge is Flamingo Park. This little oasis in the heart of Miami Beach houses a naturally shaded playground with three different play structures for kids aged two to twelve, swings, a climbing wall and a wooden train. And if your little ones need to cool down after hours of play, take them to the aquatic center next door. The place offers a lap pool and a fifteen inch-deep play pool with water jets, a gigantic mushroom fountain and a water slide.
