Back in November 2015, two young Brussels mothers - Géraldine Biebuyck and Donatienne van Houtryve - were employed full-time. They were tired of constantly struggling to find trusted babysitters and decided to create a mobile application: airBsit.

The concept is truly simple yet extremely effective. Quickly find babysitters who are recommended by friends and close to your home. The ultimate goal is to simplify parents' lives.

The design is nice and the app user-friendly.

Word-of-mouth starts, the collaborative tool gets shared and "liked" across social networks, and the community keeps growing...

AirBsit turns into Bsit

17 months and a name change later, the Bsit application is:

  • Downloadable for free from the Apple Store and Google Play
  • Present in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
  • Available in three languages (French, English, and Dutch)
  • Constantly growing with more than 100,000 registered users (parents and babysitters combined).

Earlier this year, the two founders decided to go one step further and launch a new subscription formula, Bsit Plus.
