ART INSTITUTE
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Art Institute is a world-renowed museum with an extensive collection of Impressionist paintings. We particularly recommend the Drop in Artist Studio, open daily from 10.30AM to 5PM, where you can work as a family on an art project. Many different workshops are also available for children between the ages of 3 and 12, though they do require registration in advance. Admission to the museum is free for children under the age of 14.Special tip for digital families: Don't miss the Journey Maker, a digital tool that allows your family to create your very own tour of the museum, choosing between eight storylines such as Superheroes, Wild Creatures, etc...

What's around? You can enjoy all the activities available in the Millennium and Grant Park around the Art Institute. During summer we strongly recommend the Maggie Daley Park, a giant thematic outdoor playground, or the Crown Fountain for a refreshing splash day. During winter you can skate on the ice rink.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_btn title="BACK TO CATEGORIES" shape="square" align="left" i_icon_fontawesome="fa fa-angle-double-left" link="url:http%3A%2F%2Flittlevoyageurs.com%2Fchicago|||" add_icon="true"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
