5 Thai craft brands I love for your kid's room
By Charlotte Burgoyne,
Wicker baskets, wooden toys and mobiles, rattan furniture, soft teething toys, I have selected my 5 favorite local brands to add a stylish, yet unique touch to your kid's room. Most of them have an online shop only, via Instagram, Line or Facebook. I will be organizing a couple of giveaway in Instagram with some of them, stay tuned @littlevoyageurs. Also, I have a question for you at the end of this post, would love to hear your thoughts charlotte@littlevoyageurs.com
Paniers nem Blanc. Wicked wicker baskets the are going to change your family's life ! We love the ones that you can roll around the house. My kids enjoy filling their basket with toys, pretending they are going to the market or on a trip; while I use it to carry laundry around. A really life improver, both useful and pretty.
(Un)necessary Store. Mesmerizing mobiles above your baby's crib, on your kids' shelves or desktop. I simply can't take my eyes of this store run by an extremely talented woman who does everything herself ! She recently open a shop un-formed at SeenSpace Thonglor, go see her amazing creations!
Jiew jiew kids wear. Best teething toys around Bangkok. We love their fruit shaped soft toys, coming in subtle colors, and made of gauze cotton. Jiew View also makes gorgeous clothing for little one, I adore their combo tee and pants for my 18 months old boy. The light and resistant fabric is perfect for steamy days like we often have in Bangkok.
Anusarin. Gorgeous rattan crib and toddler to big kids beds! The master piece that will add some character to your kids room. Entirely made in Thailand, using ancient techniques to work with rattan, Anusarin also makes smaller items such as kids chair or ride on toys.
141 Social Enterprise. Dreamy wood toys ranging from pretend cameras, mini looms, figurines to stacking items; designed and produced in the suburb of Bangkok by two passionate parents. When I visited 141 Social Enterprise and chatted with its founders, I was immediately charmed and came home with bags filled with their toys. By the way, would you guys be interested in making some of these toys one day with your kids ? Please share your toughts charlotte@littlevoyageurs.com
